The new bedroom wall color!!
It’s called Smoked Oyster by Valspar at Lowes. I’ve decided it’s perfect. And for that, my fiancee is very glad since I had to try 5 different colors to get to this one.

New Bed!
We’re picking up our new bed this weekend, and I still haven’t figured out what color to paint the bedroom! Nothing is making me happy. I might have to admit that I don’t actually like/want color on my walls in the bedroom. It’s a hard thing to admit b/c it sounds so good in theory…but every color is not right (even though they’re good colors on their own). Gah! Time (and my patience) is running out for this painting project.
Stop Motion Trinkets
Reading this post about stop motion on Oh Joy! made me remember a stylist friend of mine’s own stop motion video with vintage trinkets that she bought at the Golden Nugget flea market. I love it, and her work…so I thought I’d share it with all of you! (Also, here’s a link to Pia’s blog.)
Color love
I’m currently feeling this grey/blue color for my master bedroom. (Imagine this mixed with the other bedroom inspiration from before…)
modern bedroom design by san francisco architect Feldman Architecture, Inc.I’ve come to this conclusion after attempting two other paint colors that were dismal failures. I let my fiancee pick the color that I painted two days ago, and it turned out to be a form of acidic yellow. Wouldn’t you know that I have a very strong aversion to yellow on my walls? I didn’t even know it until now. Well, hopefully this nice, calm grey/blue will work better. Right now my walls are four different colors. I’ll have to take a picture and upload it to share.
